We refinish wooden kitchen units, dressers and work surfaces. We can make a kitchen look like new, often for far less than the cost of replacing it.
Work includes refurbishing oak and other solid wood kitchen units, cupboard doors and dressers, repairing veneers and surface damage, colour matching replacement doors and panels, and refinishing wooden worktops and island tops with a finish suited to everyday kitchen use.
Every kitchen starts with an assessment of the wood and the existing finish, so we can recommend a finish that will cope with heat, water and daily wear, whether that is a lacquer for units or an oil or hard-wearing finish for worktops.
Solid wood and veneered kitchens in oak, pine, cherry, walnut and other woods often only need their finish renewed to look like new again. Wooden worktops and island tops in oak, iroko, walnut and other hardwoods can be sanded back, have water marks and stains removed, and be re-oiled or sealed so they are protected for years of use.
If you want a new look, we can also change the colour of your kitchen by staining the wood darker or lighter, then respraying it with a clear lacquer, keeping the natural grain on show.
Every kitchen is different. The time and cost depend on the number of units and doors, the size of the worktops, their condition and the finish you choose, so we price each job individually. For a quote, send us a few photos of the kitchen using our contact form or WhatsApp.
